Milestone Number two: Place
Theres a school called Ben Franklin in Edison N.J. You can find many elementary schools in Edison but Ben Franklin is the best. My kindergarten classroom was big and full of surprises. It was big, with a playroom with everything that a kid wanted to have in it, and outside of the class it had cubbys where we can put our supplies, snacks, and lunch in it. I live right across from it now. Kindergarten was very special to me because it was the first school ever in my life, I had nap time, and the most special part is when I went into the play area one day and made my first friend. We got really close. It started with the Ben Franklin pajama party. My teacher gave us a form and we had to hand it in as soon as possible. But I handed mine in to late. When my friend heard I couldn't go she whispered to me during reading time if i wanted to go with her. Later that day when I was home I asked my mom, and she said yes. I remember being very excited, and so does my mom.
When we arrived to the pajama party all you saw were teachers, students, and even the principal was in his pajamas. Every time we went into a different classroom we got treats. But I loved when the teachers handed us sugary sweet and sour candy in their rough colorful candy wrappers. I felt happy as pie knowing in my mind that I had a real friend. At the end of the magical night I went home sleeping, and dreamed about how much fun I had at the Ben Franklin pajama party.
